YARD WASTE COLLECTION PROGRAM

WCSWD partners with the town to offer yard waste collection sites to residents.  WCSWD then works in conjunction with the Putnamville Correctional Facility to compost the materials.

Directions, Hours of Operation, and Phone Numbers:       

Residents are responsible for
unloading all YARD WASTE items.

North end of Whitlock St, at the old landfill.

Run by the city of Crawfordsville.  Call for hours of operation and applicable fees (765) 361-6922.

Call:  765-653-6699
Hours of Operation and Days Open:  
Monday: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Wednesday: noon - 6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Opens first Monday in April - Closes Second week of November - Closed Holidays
Directions:  Located next to County Highway Department and Police Firing Range (Call for Directions)

Hours of Operation:  Wednesday 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Saturday:  9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Days Open:  Open year round; Closed Holidays & during the Covered Bridge Festival

          Directions: State Rd. 36-Located behind CARS

 

Christmas Trees are also collected at these and other sites during January each year.  Check back during the holiday season for more information on this program.
